Since first launched in 2003 the Leaver Bear company has been flooded with requests from schools to produce their very own Leaver Bear.  But as schools also wanted to say “Hello” to new pupils with similar gifts, Summer 2004 saw unexpected growth in the concept of a Welcome Bear.

In response to demand, 2005 saw the introduction of mini bears and chimps to complement the existing range.  Company director Carole Lerway says:

 “We wanted to offer schools the opportunity to use personalised bears and chimps at intake and leaving.  It seemed natural to offer mini models for reception and bigger versions for leavers.  Our minis proved so popular we have retained them. The new minis are similar in style to their bigger brothers but are just 15cm high.  They also wear a shirt which can be personalised with the school name and date.  

Full size bears/chimps are priced at £6.60/£7.00 +VAT.  Minis are just £5.75 +VAT.
